Lincoln went to Copenhagen 24th Nov - 28th Nov 2010
Hello
The staff from Queens Park School Lincoln went to Copenhagen for the Comenius meeting of the Join the Planet. We had a great time meeting everyone from the other countries (except Iraklis who did not come to Denmark). The group from Lincoln was Alison, Becky, Chris, Geoff, Kayleigh and Ruth. The weather was cold and we had lots of snow. The Danish partners took us to some very nice restaurants, Tivoli Gardens, Christiania and the Carlsberg museum. Thursday and Friday we visited Sofus Franck School and we were entertained with a music performance by the pupils and Caroline sang Celine Dions "Goodbye's (The Saddest Word)". We were given a tour of the school by Magnus who was an excellent guide.
On Wednesday the Lincoln group went to Roskilde to the Viking Museum, on Saturday we went to Malmo and the ladies went shopping.
Saturday evening we went to Louise's apartment and had a fabulous meal, Louise was assisted by Louise, Lena and Rikke and they worked really hard to make the meal, well done ladies. We had a music quiz not sure if there was a winner and another game to win presents.
We all had a fantastic time and our thanks go to everyone who made the meeting so successful.
