A week in our tents

All the tents in a row

Sitting on a bench in Lincoln town centre eating lunch

Derick washing the pots

Jordan and Derick having dinner

Jordan throwing a "pop-up" tent into the air

Everyone then helps to pitch the tent

Jordan, Derick, Stuart, Simon walking to the camp site

Marching along, full of energy

They have to help each other to put up their tents

Hello Folks
We have completed another practice expedition for the bronze Duke of Edinburgh award. The pupils have to carry all their clothes and sleeping bag to the camp site. The distance they had to walk was 12k. When they arrived at the site they had to put up their tents. We use "pop-up" tents because they are easy and quick to put up. We cook and eat our food in a wooden hut, this makes it a little bit more comfortable. The weather was very good for us and we only had a small amount of rain on Thursday evening.
We have Tanja from Slovenia joining us for our summer camp maybe she would like to chose the colour of her tent?
We are doing the expedition again week commencing May 17th and then the pupils will have achieved their award.

ZAKDOEKJE LEGGEN/ LIEDJE SONG

Here are the lyrics with " Zakdoekje leggen".

Chloƫ and Margot are singing for you. Maybe can try to sing it too.

Zakdoekje leggen niemand zeggen

Ik heb de hele nacht gewerkt

Twee paar schoenen heb ik afgewerkt

Een van stof en een van leer

Hier leg ik mijn zakdoekje neer.

Enjoy the game!

Presentation and teaching about Dammark in Matina's classroom

My children are cutting and sticking the material that I selected in Kopechagen
(pictures from museums, palaces, maps).

They saw the photos and we spoke about our travel in Danmark , about your educational
system and about your pupils.

By cutting and sticking, they made the flag of Danmark

The names of my children are: Ioanna (Joane), Urania (means the person who has relation with the sky), Panagiotis (his name is from St. Maria), Moschoula (who has nice smell), Alexandra (her name means the person who sends (turns) away the men, like Alexandros.
