Tanja and Jasna are reported to their pupils about their visit to Greece

After our visit to the 1 Drapetsona school, we shared our Greek impressions with our students. We were told them about unforgetable days with Greek pupils and teachers and show them photos of our visit. Also we teached them some Greek words as you can see on the poster. Then the students made this poster. It is amazing , isn't it?

Behind the scenes of the theatre.

On Monday we went to visit Kortrijk theatre behind the scenes. This was very intersting. We visited places where the public never comes. A guide told us all about the history of the theatre and explained what happens before a performance, concert or musical can start. Next week we will go back to see a theatre performance. The theatre is near to the hotel where your teachers will stay, so we also went there to have a look. Ann , Freddy and their pupils. Liselotte is checking the dressing-rooms.
The ceiling is real pretty.
The guide told us about security and Smoke Detectors. The stairs are nice. There were 2 stairwells. One for the rich and one for the poor people. Now we all use the same . We went all the way up where the spotlights, scenery and curtains are attached to strong cables.

This was very high and above the stage.

Here we are in the control room. A man controls light and sound during a performance.
Are you ready for some drinks in the theatre bar?
We walked to theatre. This is also the way from the hotel to our school.

Out of the theatre windows we saw the Ibis hotel.
We checked the hotel for you!

SLOVENIAN "COMENIUS" SONG - KEKČEVA PESEM

KEKEC

KEKEC is the first Slovenian adventure - fabulous children's film. In an alpine valley lies an idyllic village. High up in the mountains, facing each others across live two men: a "good grandpa" and an "evil man". The first is herbe picker KOSOBRIN the other BEDANEC is a poacher. The latter has a girl servant MOJCA who, one day, meeting Kosobrin, tells him of her dificult life. Although in great fear of Bedanc's revenge, the old man takes her with him. Unfortunatley, he does get caught by Bedanec, who ties him on tree. Kosobrin is freed by Kekec, young cheerful and brave boy. Bedanc catches him too but promises to let him go if he helps him find the"wretched girl" Mojca. Kekec refuses the deal. Kekec's father and herdsman looking for Kekec in mountain, find his bag and presume that he has been bushed down by an eagle. Bedanc grabs Kosobrin anew. Costumed by fear, Kosobrin loses consciounsess, while Bedanc runs away, because he belives he has killed the man. Kekec appears and hauls the unconscious man across the rock wall. Bedanc is sneaking around, waiting to find the secret shaft leading to Kosobrin's cottage. Eventually he finds the shalf and begins to pull himself through...But there in the dark Kekec sets an owl on him, wich scares Bedanec terribly. He rushes out of the shaft, slips down and hangs in the air, over the abyss. When he gives a promise that he will never come back again, Kekec saves him. Indeed Bedanec sets his cottage on fire and leaves the country. Kekec returns to his village, where he is greete cherfully by all the people.

( here you can see the whole film)

The song of KEKEC from this film is very popular between Slovenian childrens, so our pupils used the music and changed some words - they use the words related to the FRIENDSHIPS between our schools .

Born on February 29th!

Hi,
My name is Loïc and I am born on February 29th. I have my real birthday once in the 4 year.
So I was very happy today when Ann told me she had a surprise for me.
I loved the song Kaileigh song on Skype for my not real birthday.
Tanja's card from the Slovenian pupils was very funny. There was also some French on it!
I was also happy with the card Geoff mailed.
Thank you very much!
Loïc
