Comeniusday in Belgium

On June 22nd we had a Comenius day for the whole school. Ann and Rudy's group introduced the 5 coordinators to the school, showed on the map where they live, explained about the activities and learnd the other pupils some words. After this we got a flag. We lived in that country for the rest of the morning and started to coock. Each country prepared something out of the recipes we received from the partners. We had an European breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon we returned to our own classgroup and played all the games. In between we learned how to dance the Sirtaki. It was great fun!

Now we are all ready to start the holidays next week.

On Friday we have a Belgian " Frietjesdag". There we get typical French Fries to eat!

Belgian English garden part 2.

Our flowers started to grow. We planted them in bigger pots and hope to see some flowers soon.

Illias is responsable to give them water when needed. He is very proud with his job and does it with all of his heart.

You will be surprised how the flowers grown by Rudy's group look. :-)

On Thursday we visited Brugge. Our headteacher and Sophie came

to join us for the day.

We did everything by bike. We did 128km and walked a lot in between

After we packed our bags we did a game in the woods. Guess who won.

Last week we went on camp with all the pupils who leave the school this year. We had a great time, nice weather and a wonderful group. Beisides what we you see in the pictures we did a lot of other activities too. Enjoy the pictures.
