Walking around the lakes in Lincoln

Today (24th Sept 2009) me and Sally took 9 pupils for a long walk, we walked to the lakes in Lincoln and then around them. It is very pretty now that the leaves on the trees are changing colour. We walked 7 miles (11k).

Activity Week in Wales

On Sunday 13th Sept 2009 we set off from school and went to a small village in Wales called Corris Uchaf (try and find it on Google Earth) to a mountain rescue centre called Tyn y Berth. It took 5 hours to drive there in our minibus. During the week we did many exciting things, we went caving in an old slate mine, we abseiled in the cave, we went on low rope course in a swamp and got very wet, dirty and smelly. We went for a very long walk up a mountain, canoeing on a river, abseiled down two cliffs, one about 15mts high and the highest one was 40mts. We also went gorge walking, this is walking up a stream climbing over rocks, the water was cold. We also went rock climbing and spent some time playing on the beach. A very tiring week but good fun.

We talked with our English friends!

Today we talked for the 2nd time with our friends in Lincoln. Our teacher helped us to prepare some questions and learned how to say it in English. It was great that Charlotte, Darryl and co understood us. Sometimes our teacher had to translate some things. Geoff is funny and he invited us to go on camp with him. Ann says this will not be possible.

We love to talk on Skype and want to learn to know the pupils in the other schools! Geoff when are you back on?

The first day at school

Today in our school inaugurated the new school year and sanctification.
From Monday 14 September starting lessons regularly. We have many new students. Today also got a decision on the program and all teachers will be in the program COMENIUS.

A zebra came to school and explained the pupils about movement rules. Only one big pupil didn't understand. He will learn in Greece!
