Hi,

A submarine is in our city for 5 days. We went to visit it this morning. It was great. We learned about the life on a submarine. We could experience how people on the boat, eat, sleep, work, ... . We also learned about Jules Verne. Enjoy the pictures.

Belgian Comenius pupils

We are Indra ( Rudy's group) and Farah ( Ann's group) and we had our birthday today!

We are the Belgian Comenius pupils for this year. Some of us worked on the project last year and some are new. We are looking forward to do the activities and meet you !!!!!!!!!!!

Second year

This is the start of the second year of our project: "Join the planet with friendship."

Comeniusday in Belgium

On June 22nd we had a Comenius day for the whole school. Ann and Rudy's group introduced the 5 coordinators to the school, showed on the map where they live, explained about the activities and learnd the other pupils some words. After this we got a flag. We lived in that country for the rest of the morning and started to coock. Each country prepared something out of the recipes we received from the partners. We had an European breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon we returned to our own classgroup and played all the games. In between we learned how to dance the Sirtaki. It was great fun!

Now we are all ready to start the holidays next week.

On Friday we have a Belgian " Frietjesdag". There we get typical French Fries to eat!

Belgian English garden part 2.

Our flowers started to grow. We planted them in bigger pots and hope to see some flowers soon.

Illias is responsable to give them water when needed. He is very proud with his job and does it with all of his heart.

You will be surprised how the flowers grown by Rudy's group look. :-)
