African dancer at our school
Yesterday we had Bisi a South African actor, dancer and musical star at our school. For the moment he is performing in the musical " The Lion King". He travels all over the world and even performed on Broadway New York. He first told us some thing about his career and how people live in South Africa. It was amazing how well our pupils understand English and how similar the South African language is to our Flemish dialect. Than he learned us a dance. We all felt like musical stars, especially Rudy who kept on shaking his ass. This was great fun and we are more than ready to learn the Sirtaki!

Geoff's trip to Porto
Hello Everyone
On Tuesday 10th March, Lyn and I went to Porto for 5 days. The weather was really good and we had sunshine every day with temperatures over 20c. We met a teacher Luis who I met at a Comenius seminar in 2007 and we looked around his school called Cercigaia. We went to many places during our stay and Porto is a very beautiful city. The photograph is of me and Lyn with Porto in the background and then a photograph without us spoiling the view. I am sitting by the river in Aveiro, they say it is like Venice and they have the gondolas to take you around the city but we did not bother with the trip. Then there are two photographs of the monastery in Porto, one during the day and another at night. The photograph of the port cellars was taken at night, Porto is famous for its many different Port wines.
It was a great trip and on the last day Luis took us up into the mountains along the River Douro to a watermill (Molin) he owns. It is a fabulous place to stay, with only the noise of the river and the birds singing to break the silence
Geoff.
